River Forest SD 90 - Roosevelt School Drain Tile

The major element of this life-safety project involved installing drain tile and a sump pump system in the boiler room at Roosevelt School. On a shortened summer schedule, we were able to remove nearly 1000 SF of concrete floor slab, excavate and install a robust ejector system in less than 5 weeks time. Our crews removed all concrete and excavated materials by hand, all while constantly de-watering the excavation from what appeared to be an underground water source.
